Welcome to the introduction of a new series I’m going to be blogging about that I’m calling ‘The Basics’. Pretty creative and unique title, eh?!
Okay, so maybe that’s not true, but here’s where I’m going with theses posts. I want to compile a lists of skills and concepts that are important for anyone who is involved with leading and facilitating congregational worship. These aren’t biblical rules, nor will they be particularly unique or ground breaking. They’ll be tried and true things that have helped me and countless others who have gone before me – and hopefully things that will help you too as you read along. They’ll be relatively short and concise, and may someday each spawn series of their own, but for now I hope they’ll give you a few great things to think about as you help lead your local church in worship together.
